The Chicago Tech Academy opened its doors in September 2009 to 150 freshman students. Chicago Tech's mission is to educate the next generation of entrepreneurial leaders by preparing all students for success in college and technology-rich careers

With an unprecedented level of private sector support, this new high school is providing its students with unparalleled opportunities at mentoring and support from industry leaders and major tech firms in Chicago, and beyond.

Today, Chicago Tech has expanded to a 9th and 10th grade, and is getting ready to welcome the class of 2015, who will begin their journey to tech leadership in September 2011.
