Volunteer

We need your help to provide our students with a 21st century college- and career-prep education! There are lots of ways to get involved and share your experiences:

  • Mentoring: Starting in Fall 2010, each of our sophomores will be paired with a professional mentor to work with over the next three years.

  • Field trips: We took over 25 high-tech field trips last year, including visits to Cisco Systems, the Daley Center, and the Illinois IT Association.

  • Work experience: Our career program links students with real work experience through internships, job shadowing, and work-based projects.

  • Guest lectures: Students love hearing stories from seasoned professionals. Last year's speaker list included Microsoft CEO Steve Ballmer.
